The Role
The Ground Operations Specialist supports Alpine's crews on residential and commercial job sites — assisting with removals, pruning, rigging, equipment setup, and cleanup.
This is a hands-on entry point into the green industry, with full on-the-job training provided. No prior tree experience is required.
What You'll Do
On a typical day, you'll work alongside Alpine's crews on tasks that may include:
Tree pruning and removals
Rigging and ground operations
Equipment operation and job site setup
Planting and landscape support
Job site cleanup and safety procedures
Working alongside crews on residential and commercial properties

Qualifications
What matters most for this role is mindset, reliability, and willingness to learn. While definitely a plus, tree industry experience is not required.
Strong work ethic and positive attitude
Ability to work outdoors in a physically demanding environment
Reliability and accountability
Willingness to learn and adapt
Valid driver's license
English proficiency
Authorized to work in the United States
Preferred:
1+ year tree care industry experience
CDL
ISA Arborist Certification

- $25+/hour, based on experience and performance.
